Demag AC 265

The chassis feature an eight-cylinder Daimler-Benz OM 442 A diesel engine and a ZF torque-converter transmission with an electronically controlled automatic gearshift, the Demag AC 265 delivers an output of 269 kW (365 HP) and a torque of 1619 Nm. It boasts an advanced hydropneumatic suspension, all-wheel drive with differential lock control, and an array of safety and comfort features in the cab for operators.

The superstructure of the AC 265 is powered by a six-cylinder Daimler-Benz OM 366 A diesel engine, producing 121 kW (165 HP), complemented by a robust hydraulic system that allows for three simultaneous work motions. Its 5-section power-telescoping boom showcases the DEMAG “ovaloid” design, which is optimized for strength and reliability. With a standard counterweight of 10 tons, which includes sections that are easily deposited on the carrier, the AC 265 is as practical as it is powerful.
