Product Description
The Fuwa QUY650 crawler crane is built to handle the most demanding lifting operations, with a rated capacity of 650 tonnes at a 6-meter radius in its standard configuration. This crane offers extensive configuration options, with a main boom length ranging from 24 to 108 meters. When equipped with a luffing jib, the crane reaches a combined length of up to 174 meters (108 meters of main boom plus 66 meters of luffing jib). This extended reach makes the QUY650 an optimal choice for high-rise construction, wind turbine installation, and other applications that require substantial lifting height and capacity.
The QUY650 is powered by a Cummins QSX15 engine that produces 418 kW at 1800 rpm, delivering the power needed for the crane’s comprehensive hydraulic system. The crane’s main and auxiliary winches, which are capable of speeds up to 130 m/min, use high-diameter ropes for enhanced load stability. The main derricking system operates at up to 45 m/min, while the superlift derricking speed reaches 120 m/min, ensuring smooth setup and efficient operation. The crane also features a swing system with speeds of up to 0.8 rpm, and a travel speed of up to 1 km/h, allowing it to move steadily across various terrains.
The superlift configuration enhances the QUY650’s lifting capacity by adding a 30-meter superlift mast and up to 325 tonnes of counterweight. This configuration provides additional stability and capacity, allowing the crane to achieve a maximum rated lifting capacity of 650 tonnes at a 10-meter radius. For specialized tasks, the crane includes a special boom for wind turbine installations, reaching up to 174 meters with a luffing jib.
The crane is equipped with multiple safety features, such as over-hoist prevention devices for both hook and boom, a moment limiter to monitor load conditions, and emergency braking systems for the main and auxiliary winches. A three-color load indicator, as well as angle sensors, ensures real-time monitoring and helps maintain safe operations. The crane’s ground bearing pressure is approximately 1.5 MPa, providing stability on various surfaces, while its gradeability of 30% allows for effective operation on slopes and rough terrains.
The undercarriage is designed for heavy-duty performance, featuring telescopic track frames and wide track shoes that improve traction and ground contact. Each track assembly consists of numerous track rollers for smooth movement, and the crane includes adjustable track shoe tension for optimal operation. With a total weight of 510 tonnes, including counterweight and base equipment, the QUY650 is built for durability and stability during heavy lifts.
The operator’s cab is spacious and well-equipped, featuring air conditioning, ergonomic controls, and a large digital display for system diagnostics and monitoring. This design ensures operator comfort during extended operations. The crane’s transport dimensions are 12,500 mm (L) x 3,300 mm (W) x 3,360 mm (H), facilitating easier transportation between sites.
The QUY650 offers a range of hook block options from 15 to 650 tonnes, which enhances its versatility for various lifting requirements. With its extensive reach, powerful performance, and adaptability to diverse project needs, the Fuwa QUY650 is an exceptional crane for large-scale construction, energy, and industrial projects where high lifting capacity and reach are essential.
