The Hitachi Sumitomo SCX900HD-2 is a robust and versatile 90-ton class crawler crane. The Hitachi Sumitomo SCX900HD-2 crawler crane offers exceptional lifting capabilities within the 90-ton class, ensuring safe and reliable operations for a range of lifting requirements. The upper revolving frame is all-welded, precision-machined, and robust, ensuring durability and a precise base for equipment mounting. The turntable bearing incorporates an internal swing gear, and the crane’s control system enables finely tuned operations through a unique hydraulic circuit that maximizes drum horsepower and minimizes horsepower loss, preventing engine stalls.

A standout feature is the Energy-Saving Pump Control System, which provides two modes for varying engine speed and pump discharge, allowing for precision crane work or clamshell operations where constant engine speed is beneficial. The system is capable of handling a variety of functions simultaneously, thanks to its three variable displacement axial piston pumps and four gear pumps.

Safety is paramount with the SCX900HD-2, incorporating a Load Moment Indicator for automatic overload prevention, and safety devices such as a slewing lock and alarms. It features multiple wet-disc type brakes within the drum assembly, ensuring high brake safety even if hydraulic pressure drops.

The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6M70-TL diesel engine with a 272 kW rated output, compliant with Stage/Tier 3 emission regulations in Europe, America, and Japan.
