Liebherr LTR1060

The LTR1060 is a unity of a telescopic crane and those of a crawler crane. It was also rumored that Liebherr does not really have in minds for further developments for the telescopic crawler until someone has requested the model for a special application. The crane is rated 60 ton at 2 meters and has a main boom 10.2m to 40m and can be also equipped with an optional jib of 9.5m to 16m. It still requires the central ballast for the maximum lift, which can select either 15.6t or 10t configuration.
This crane does have its advantages and similarities with convention mobile telescopic cranes. It can perform pick and carry while driving with full capacity. One of the advantages was the short erection times, allowing the crane to reposition fast enough to continue with the job.
The crane is compact with a 3m transport width and height of only 3.15m. It weighs 62.6t with counterweight and 37.5t for crane body, either way is easy for transportation on the road. Furthermore, it can be used for 2-hook operation with 2nd winch and erection jib for precast elements.
