Founded by Derick Markwell, a structural engineer with more than 25 years of offshore construction and drilling experience, the company develops equipment designed to withstand demanding offshore environments while maintaining simplicity, reliability, and operational efficiency.

TENSA offers engineered solutions supported by technical expertise, rigorous analysis, and testing. The company works closely with its sister company Atlas EPM (Engineering and Project Management) for multidisciplinary engineering support and has access to advanced hydraulic capabilities through its ownership stake in Pressure Dynamics, a high-end hydraulics company based in Perth.

Based in Australia, TENSA supports projects across Australia and Southeast Asia, with partner companies in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, while also supplying equipment globally on both sales and rental basis.
