Urban receives demag AC100-4L all terrain crane

In September 2017, Detlef Urban’s Technical Director Enrico Schwarz took delivery of a Demag AC 100-4L, making it the 12th crane of this make to be owned by the company. The unit was handed over to the Urban delegation by Terex Cranes Sales Managers Jenny Rosenblatt and Torsten Hanke in Zweibrücken. In fact, every single one of the mobile cranes in the Wittenförden-based crane service provider’s fleet is and the company’s most recent acquisition continues this tradition.

Enrico Schwarz explains his company’s preference for the cranes from Zweibrücken: “The quality of Demag cranes is reflected in every single detail of their design and engineering. In fact, you can see that right away when you realize that Demag paints all individual parts before assembly instead of waiting until they are all put together.”

The new Demag AC 100-4L, which comes with a backup camera, won the crane service provider over with its combination of a compact design and a long main boom. “This makes the crane an extremely versatile unit that we can use for a very broad range of jobs, including industrial assembly and infrastructure projects,” explains Enrico Schwarz, who not only values the quality of Demag cranes, but also his company’s long-standing excellent relationship with the manufacturer’s sales and service staff and the excellent support they provide.
