ZPMC is the short form for Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited (old name Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company). It is a Chinese multinational engineering company and one of the world’s largest manufacturers of cranes and large steel structures. The company was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange.
The company was founded in 1992 as a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC). They specializes in design, manufacture, erect, commission, shipping in fully erected state, after-sales service and development of new port machinery products. Main products includes container cranes (QCs), RTGs, floating crane engineering vessels etc.
ZMPC is responsible as the steel fabricator of the new Bay Bridge located in the San Francisco Bay Area in USA.
