ABA Crane Hire Takes Five Liebherrs

UK rental company ABA Crane Hire has taken delivery of two Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain cranes, with a further two units set to follow along with a 120 tonne LTM 1120-4.1 early next year.

The two-axle LTM 1040 has a four-section 35-metre main boom which can handle 7.4 tonnes on a full boom or 1.1 tonnes at a maximum radius of 31 metres. Features include a Stage V engine, Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger set up system and the company’s remote control unit covering all superstructure functions.

ABA managing director Adrian Baggott, said: “The team here at ABA are loving the two new LTM 1040s which are already at work and have had some very positive feedback from our operators. We continue to invest in what we believe to be the best equipment on the market and our LTM 1110, the first in the UK, has proved to be a game-changer for our fleet. We look forward to receiving our brand new LTM 1120 next year.”
