Stupid Crane Accident

I don’t meant to be sarcastic, but it is really a stupid stupid mistake made by the lifting crew. Since it is a break bulk cargo, they should use a lifting basket instead of hitch area the load and under the wooden pellet. There wasn’t any tagline to control the load as well as it was wobbling it’s way up into the sky.

So what they have caused:

1. A smashed car.
2. Smashed bulk of goods.
3. A rigger or signalman running away (doesn’t really matter since they will be fired anyway).
4. Lastly, pre-warn by the dog and scolding by the dog. I think the dog would be a much better lifting supervisor.
