On the 24th of Jan, police arrested a 62-year-old man in a case in which a woman was hit and run and died in Konan City, Aichi Prefecture.
Masaki Ishimaru (62) of Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, killed a childcare worker woman (24) who lived nearby while riding a bicycle at an intersection with a signal in Konan City. There is a suspicion that he has left the place.
Ishimaru denies the police investigation, saying, “I don’t remember having an accident.”
However, the police have identified the suspect Ishimaru from the security cameras in the vicinity and are investigating the situation at the time of the accident in detail.
