UK rental company Emerson Crane Hire has ordered four Liebherr All Terrain cranes, scheduled for delivery over the next eight months.
The order includes a 230 tonne LTM 1230-5.1, a 110 tonne LTM 1110-5.1 and two 60 tonne LTM 1060-3.1s. The first unit due for delivery is the five-axle 110 tonne LTM 1110-5.1, with a six-section 60-metre main boom plus a 10.8 to 19-metre lattice bi-fold swingaway extension. Two seven-metre lattice extensions can be added to offer a maximum tip height of almost 96 metres.
It can travel with 11.3 tonnes of counterweight, extension and hook block within 12-tonne axle loads, or carry 29 tonnes of counterweight and extension within the UK’s 16.5-tonne STGO axle loads limits.
