I have received some photos yesterday on an crane accident of the Sany SCC1020 truck crane. The truck crane was a wind power special application truck crane which has a double telescoping boom structure, adopted for all 2.0-2.5 MW wind motor hoisting works.
While there hasn’t been any news release on the crane accident, I have managed to get some photos from an anonymous source. What do you think had happened that caused the crane to collapse ?
The second section of the boom is bent and fallen sideways onto the ground. |
An overview photo of the collapse crane. |
Was outriggers a possible factor of the collapse or ground stability ? |
