Around 10:00 a.m. on the 29th Nov 2022, there was an accident in which a Kato roughter overturned at the construction site of a multi-purpose indoor playground facility in the town of Kin, Okinawa Prefecture, which is proceeding with the development of the US military Gimbal training ground site.

Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.

The crane lost its balance and toppled while hoisting materials and other items from the second floor of the facility. The crane was removed on the same day.

An investigation of the accident has been carried out.

A contract was signed with a construction company in the town, and the facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of December.
