Three generations of IDP (International Development Programmes) leadership joined Potain to celebrate the company’s success at bauma 2019 in Munich, Germany. The Cairo, Egypt-based company has been a Potain dealer for 44 years, and is one of the longest-running Potain dealers in the world.
Christophe Chatonnet, Potain customer service manager for the Middle East and India, presented the company with an award for its market coverage and performance in 2018, recognizing its exceptional sales of Potain tower cranes and service to customers in the region.
“This is our 14th bauma, and we only missed one, when the volcano erupted over Iceland and we couldn’t physically be here,” said Adnan Akil, chairman of IDP. “This year we have three generations of IDP leadership here in Munich to celebrate with Potain!”
