On Sunday (31st July 2022), the boom crane of an exhibiting company’s truck crashed several metres high at the Libramont Agricultural Fair in the province of Luxembourg.
The incident occurred at around 18:00, near the conclusion of the day’s event.
Although no injuries were reported, the fall did cause considerable material damage.
“A work and safety perimeter has been constructed to clean up after oil leaked (from the boom crane),” Natacha Perat, the Libramont Fair’s manager, told Belga News Agency, “we now need to clean and restore the perimeter.”
The incident was most likely caused by a technical malfunction.
