Cnc Levage Takes Ltc1050 4.1 For Corsica

French crane rental company CNC Levage has taken delivery of a 50 tonne Liebherr LTC 1050-3.1 city type All Terrain crane.

The new crane replaces a 45 tonne LTC 1045-3.1 purchased in 2011 and features a 36-metre main boom and a 13-metre bi-fold swing-away extension. Maximum tip height is around 51 metres and it has a maximum radius of 39 metres. It has also featured the VarioBase outrigger system, an elevating cab and remote controls.

Based in Corsica, the company says that the LTC 1050-3.1 is ideal for the island’s mountainous terrain, with narrow winding roads and twisting alleys in the small villages and historic old towns, and that it will be well suited to the preponderance of job sites with minimal space and tight working conditions.

CNC Levage owner, Nicolas Allegrini, said: “Eight years ago we purchased the LTC 1045-3.1 to supplement our LTM cranes. We have been very satisfied with it, and so decided to replace it with its successor. The LTC 1050-3.1 is as flexible as a Swiss penknife. We can use it to cover a very wide range of different lifting work.”
