A Rough Terrain Crane, believed to be 35 ton capacity class has toppled over at SBF Center worksite in Tanjong Pagar on Tuesday evening.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to the incident about 7.10pm. Understand from the media, The Straits Time that one worker was operating the crane when it toppled to the side. No one was injured during the accident.
The site is located between Robinson Road and Cecil street, which they are constructing a 31-storey commercial development for business, medical suites and F&B outlets.
Engineer Ms. Kerry Devlin, 27, was watching TV in her 34th floor residential unit across Cecil Stree when she heard a loud crash.
