Shaw Construction has released a statement that one of their cranes has collapsed on 20th Jan at the Grand Junction Lincoln Park Stadium improvements project on the north side near Supliziio Field.
The steel erectors were working with the crane when the incident happened at about 3 pm in the afternoon. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The project team and related personnel are conducting an initial investigation and at the same time working on the recovery of the crane.
Based on the images, it was a 5-axle Grove all-terrain crane that has collapsed.
