Product Description
The XCMG XCA300 is a versatile 300-ton all-terrain crane designed for heavy-duty lifting tasks across construction, industrial, and wind energy maintenance projects. This crane features a seven-section “U”-shaped main boom, which extends from 15 meters to a maximum of 80 meters, providing significant reach and lifting capacity. The crane can be equipped with additional jibs, including a fixed jib that can extend between 6 to 42 meters and a specialized wind power jib of 14.7 meters, making it ideal for high-altitude operations such as wind turbine maintenance.
The XCA300 excels in super hoisting performance with a unique setup for wind power maintenance. When configured with a 69.8-meter main boom, a superlift device, and an 8-meter wind power jib, it offers a working radius of 16 meters and can handle loads up to 33.2 tons. The crane’s design includes steplessly elevated fixed jibs ranging from 6 to 36 meters, providing versatility for different lifting tasks. Its fixed-length tensioning technology enhances superlift performance by 5-8%, and the automatic rope ordering system ensures smooth and orderly winch operations, reducing maintenance needs.
Engineered for efficient transport and site setup, the XCA300 features a robust chassis with a 1650+3100+1650+2440+1650 mm wheelbase, offering excellent stability. It is powered by two engines: the OM502LA.E3B/2 chassis engine, which delivers 442.6 kW at 1800 rpm, and the OM906LA.E3A/1 superstructure engine with 205 kW at 2200 rpm. This dual-engine setup ensures sufficient power for both travel and lifting operations. The crane can achieve a maximum travel speed of over 80 km/h and has a minimum turning diameter of 23 meters, providing smooth mobility across various terrains. It boasts a gradeability of 57%, allowing it to handle steep inclines with ease, and has a ground clearance of 280 mm for navigating uneven surfaces.
The crane’s safety and operational efficiency are further enhanced by its advanced control systems and self-assembly features. The XCA300 can carry counterweights totaling up to 100 tons, including a 20-ton base and 80 tons of modular slabs. These counterweights can be assembled and disassembled using the crane’s efficient self-assembly technology, which allows for disordered stacking and hydraulic locking, providing double protection for safe and secure operations. The crane uses wireless remote control for assembling counterweights, making setup quick and easy on-site. The assembly procedure for the superlift device is streamlined, using fixed-length tensioning technology that enables quick setup within 80 seconds, improving efficiency by 30%.
In terms of lifting performance, the XCA300’s main boom offers a maximum lifting moment of 9270 kNm, with a base boom length of 15 meters. When fully extended, the crane’s boom and jib configuration can reach up to 112.8 meters, allowing for impressive lifting heights. The crane’s slewing system can rotate at speeds of up to 1.2 rpm, ensuring smooth and precise positioning. The winch systems provide a maximum hoisting speed of 127 m/min for both the main and auxiliary winches, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing cycle times.
The crane’s cab is designed for comfort and functionality, featuring a panoramic windshield, adjustable seating, and an ergonomic control layout. Safety features include advanced load monitoring systems, power limiters, and emergency diagnostic capabilities. The cab also offers a real-time display of operational data, allowing the operator to maintain full control over lifting tasks. For additional safety, the crane is equipped with hydraulic balance valves, flow control devices, and steel rope monitoring systems to ensure secure and reliable operations.
Overall, the XCMG XCA300 combines strong lifting performance, advanced mobility, and intelligent control systems to deliver a highly efficient and adaptable all-terrain crane. Its versatility, coupled with robust engineering and safety features, makes it an excellent choice for large-scale projects, including those requiring high-altitude installations and complex lifting configurations.
