Product Description
The R&D team has also worked with various suppliers for four months to build the prototype and the final stage of testing took three months – including preassembly of the crane, evaluating many different types of configuration, and all of the structural tests.
The new crane’s cab is designed to provide operators with a clear view of their working environment.
Technical Director Domenico Ciano and its team explained that the crane is being designed based study of the crane positioning, based on the needs of the modern job site in the different geographies. This meant an increased lifting capacity of approximately 30% when compared to the MRT223.
They then focused on improving on the three main movements across speeds, control, and usability. This will effectively reduce cycle times and improve movement accuracy. Safe erection and maintenance were also another top priority for the MRT234 during its conceptualization.
The first units have already been sold, with the first due for delivery to Raimondi’s Swiss agent InterKran in August 2017, followed by two MRT234s to Australian agent, Strictly Cranes.
