Hannover Messe rescheduled due to Coronavirus

Hannover Messe 2020 Event

Hannover Messe industrial manufacturing, automation and logistics exhibition in April 2020 has been postponed.

The vast German exhibition will be rescheduled from 13th to 17th July 2020. The 5,500 exhibitors, 200,000 attendee event has been rescheduled in response to developments with the Coronavirus outbreak.

Organiser Deutsche Messe made its decision in close cooperation with the Hannover Region Health Authority, the Hannover Messe Exhibitor’s Council and the partner associations VDMA (German Engineering Federation) and ZVEI (Gerrman Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association).

Hannover Region Health Authority has recommended that Deutsche Messe to follow the advice of Robert Koch Institute, including setting fever measuring stations at all entrances and assessing people regardless if they have travelled from high-risk areas or countries.
