Kranlyft the Maeda master distributor for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, has set up a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Germany.

Kranlyft GmbH Deutschland was registered at the start of August in Ebern, Bavaria to the north of Bamberg and Nuremberg. The company takes over the distribution of Maeda spider and mini crawler cranes from Kranlyft’s previous partner in Germany, vacuum handling expert Uplifter.

The new subsidiary is the Kranlyft group’s third direct sales operation, based in Gothenburg Sweden, the company has operated a subsidiary in the UK for many years. It covers the rest of its territory through an extensive distributor network.

Chief executive Jurgen Vater said: “We are happy to take one step closer to our customers in Germany, which is a key market for Kranlyft and Maeda. With the ongoing establishment of a full-scale hub for our activities, I am confident that Maeda’s position in Germany will become even stronger and enhance customer experience and satisfaction.”
