New crane offers up to 82.8 m jib, advanced controls, and robust lifting capacity for infrastructure projects in the GCC
Raimondi Cranes, the Italian tower crane manufacturer, has officially launched its largest flat top tower crane to date—the 24-tonne T577. The crane made its debut at The Big 5 Construct Saudi exhibition in Riyadh and is scheduled for its first shipment to the United Arab Emirates, underscoring its regional relevance for large-scale infrastructure and commercial developments.
Technical Highlights of the T577
The T577 is a high-capacity flat top tower crane engineered for heavy-duty construction demands. It offers 10 different jib configurations up to a maximum of 82.8 meters, with tip capacities of 3,400 kg in Ultralift mode and 3,100 kg in standard mode. The crane can lift its maximum load of 24 tonnes at a radius of up to 25 meters.
The standard configuration includes a 110 kW hoist winch, capable of delivering line speeds up to 21.88 meters per minute and offering 1,030 meters of rope storage capacity. An emergency hydraulic brake system is included as standard, ensuring reliable stopping power and added safety during lifting operations.
Integrated Control and Comfort Features
The T577 is equipped with Raimondi’s ConCore control system, designed to streamline commissioning, diagnostics, and service through simplified user interfaces and modular logic.
Operator comfort is prioritized with the inclusion of the Lumina cab, which provides enhanced visibility, ergonomic seating, and advanced environmental controls, ensuring better working conditions across long shifts.
The crane offers a freestanding height of up to 73 meters with a counterweighted base, and supports maximum counterweight configurations up to 29 tonnes. It is available in both 400V/50Hz and 480V/60Hz versions, making it suitable for global deployment across various power standards.
Designed for the GCC Market and Beyond
“We are pleased to present the Raimondi T577 flat top tower crane to the global construction audience,” said Luigi Maggioni, CEO of Raimondi Cranes. “We launched during Big 5 Construct in Riyadh to give our regional clients a first look, as this crane is tailored for major infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia and across the GCC.”
Maggioni also confirmed that Raimondi is actively developing additional high-capacity models and plans to expand the T Series with smaller cranes to serve a broader range of applications.
