SENNEBOGEN Launches 200-Tonne 6203 E Telescopic Crawler Crane at bauma 2025

Largest model in SENNEBOGEN’s telescopic crane series debuts with 78 m boom option, advanced control system, and robust pick-and-carry capabilities

At bauma 2025, SENNEBOGEN will unveil the 6203 E, a 200-tonne telescopic crawler crane that now stands as the manufacturer’s most powerful model in its telescopic crane lineup. Featuring a maximum boom length of 78 meters and a newly developed machine control system, the 6203 E is designed for heavy-duty lifting tasks in infrastructure, precast assembly, and wind turbine construction.

With more than 33 years of experience in telescopic crawler crane engineering, SENNEBOGEN continues to respond to increasing market demand for large-capacity, flexible lifting equipment. The new model fills a key gap above the 130–160 t class, offering high performance in varied terrain and operating conditions.

Designed for Heavy-Duty and Pick-and-Carry Applications

The 6-section pin boom extends up to 56.4 meters, with an optional hydraulically adjustable jib pushing total reach to 78 meters. Each telescopic section includes an additional pin point at 90% extension, delivering enhanced rigidity and lifting performance across all boom lengths. The crane remains highly capable even on uneven ground with inclinations of up to 4 degrees, and is fully rated for 360° lifting and pick-and-carry operations at 100% capacity.

Technical Specifications and Key Features

  • Max load capacity: 200 t
  • Boom length: 56.4 m (main boom), up to 78 m with jib
  • Engine: 194 kW Stage V diesel, HVO-compatible
  • Winches: 135 kN pulling force, up to 115 m/min rope speed
  • Track width: Adjustable from 3.5 m to 6.0 m
  • Track shoes: 1,000 mm double grousers standard; optional polyamide pads for sensitive surfaces
  • Transport: Width under 3 m (w/o crawlers), shipped in 7 loads, self-unloading and self-assembly

This crane is ideally suited for applications involving precast concrete, bridge construction, and auxiliary wind turbine assembly, where reach, flexibility, and ground adaptability are critical.

New SENCON Load Control System Enhances Operator Experience

The 6203 E introduces SENNEBOGEN’s new SLC – SENCON Load Control system. Housed on a separate in-cab screen, the SLC provides detailed, real-time data on lifting performance, ground pressure, and boom configuration. With 16 pre-set “Extend Modes”, operators can quickly switch boom configurations for optimal lift planning. The system complements the existing SENCON interface for machine and engine diagnostics.

The crane is equipped with the Maxcab operator cabin, tiltable by 20° as standard, and optionally elevated hydraulically up to 5.7 meters and tiltable to 30°. Integrated cameras expand operator visibility to rear and right-side blind zones, enhancing overall safety.

Built for Stability, Built for Efficiency

With its heavy-duty undercarriage, adjustable track widths, and high-performance travel capabilities, the 6203 E excels in both stationary and mobile lifting operations. All major maintenance points are clearly arranged and easily accessible, following SENNEBOGEN’s “Keep It Simple” philosophy—prioritizing durable hydraulic and mechanical systems over excessive electronic complexity.

As with other Stage V models, the 6203 E is compatible with HVO fuel, offering a more sustainable power solution without sacrificing performance.

Live Demonstration at bauma 2025

The SENNEBOGEN 6203 E will be presented for the first time at outdoor stand FM.712, Munich Trade Fair, from April 7–13, 2025. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the crane’s full capabilities and learn more about its unique advantages for high-capacity lifting operations.
