UK crawler crane sales and rental company AGD is adding six new 70-tonne Sennebogen 673R telescopic crawler cranes to its fleet with funding from Walbrook Asset Finance.

The 673 Es have been ordered for sa major warehouse construction project and feature a four-section, 36-metre main boom plus an eight to 15-metre bi-fold swing-away extension which can offset by up to 40 degrees. Features include a Stage V engine, a tilting cab, extendable tracks as well as pick & carry capabilities.

Walbrook was able to provide a structured finance package for the cranes at relatively short notice. Head of sales at Walbrook Chris Smith said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with AGD Equipment and helping their business grow. We are always keen to be involved from the earliest stage of the planned acquisition of assets. We understood very well the complexity of the finance for this transaction, dealt with it swiftly and efficiently using our in-house finance experts and we look forward to assisting with future acquisitions.”

AGD’s Robert Law added: “In our business, we rely on trusted suppliers of both equipment and finance. Working with Walbrook Asset Finance was a hassle-free process, their ability to offer flexible lines of credit in a timely fashion allowed us to access the funds we needed to secure a substantial order in time for our hire clients to start construction.”
