A crane tower being transported collapsed, and a steel structure struck a male worker outside, resulting in his death. The victim, a 73-year-old man from Aoi Nishi 6-chome, Naka-ku, Hamamatsu City, worked in the facilities industry. According to the Iwata Police Station, the man was guiding a cart carrying a crane tower used for rearranging the layout inside the factory. The police are investigating the circumstances and causes of the collapse.
