Product Description
Crane Carrier Specifications
- Engine and Transmission: Powered by a potent Daimler-Benz type OM 447 A engine, the LTM 1300 outputs 313 kW (420 HP) at 1800 rpm, with a torque of 950 lbs-ft at 1000–1600 rpm. This power is managed through an Allison type CLBT 755 automatic transmission with a torque converter and hydrodynamic retarder brake, providing smooth and efficient transitions across a range of operational terrains.
- Axles and Suspension: The crane features seven axles, with the first, third, and sixth axles being steerable, enhancing its maneuverability on site. All axles are hydropneumatically sprung and feature automatic leveling, ensuring optimal stability during operations.
Crane Superstructure Capabilities
- Telescopic Boom and Lifting Capacity: The superstructure includes a 51 to 197-foot telescopic boom, capable of extended reach and flexibility in various lifting tasks. The boom includes one base section and four telescopic sections, each extendable independently, maximizing the crane’s adaptability to different job requirements.
- Safety and Control Systems: Equipped with state-of-the-art safety features, including the LICCON overload safety indicator and multiple safety valves to protect hydraulic systems, the LTM 1300 ensures high levels of operational safety. The crane’s control system, facilitated by self-centering control levers movable in four directions, offers precise load handling.
Additional Features
- Lattice Jibs and Hoisting Gear: The crane can be further equipped with a luffing lattice jib ranging from 57 to 230 ft and a lattice fly jib from 34 to 138 ft, significantly enhancing its functionality and range of operation. The hoisting gear supports two-hook operations or can be adjusted to luff the lattice fly jib, providing additional versatility.
- Drive and Steering: The inclusion of TELMA-18 type eddy current brake on the 4th axle increases braking performance, vital for safety and durability during transport and heavy lifting operations.
The Liebherr LTM 1300 represents an excellent combination of high lifting capacity, extended reach, and advanced safety technologies. It is well-suited for a wide array of heavy lifting tasks, from construction sites to industrial settings, where high performance and reliability are crucial. This crane is designed to tackle the most challenging projects with ease, ensuring efficiency and safety at every step of the operation.
