The Kobelco CKL2600 is a high-capacity hydraulic crawler crane engineered for demanding heavy-lift projects across infrastructure, energy, and industrial construction. It boasts a maximum lifting capacity of 260 metric tons at a 4.6-meter radius in its standard crane boom configuration, and a maximum boom length of 91.4 meters. The crane supports various boom and jib combinations: a maximum fixed jib combination of 76.2 meters boom plus 30.5 meters jib, and luffing jib configurations up to 61 meters luffing boom plus 61 meters luffing jib, achieving significant working height and radius flexibility.

Powered by a Hino P11C-UN turbocharged diesel engine delivering 247 kW (ISO) at 2,000 rpm, the CKL2600 features a full-flow hydraulic control system with four variable displacement pumps dedicated to hoisting, boom operation, swing, and propel functions. This system ensures precise, infinitely variable operation and smooth multi-function control. The main and auxiliary winches offer rated single-line pull of 132 kN (13.5 tf) with line speeds up to 100 m/min on the first drum layer, using 25.4 mm wire rope up to 480 meters (main) and 390 meters (auxiliary).

The crane includes heavy-duty components such as spring-set, hydraulically released multi-disc brakes on winches and swing system, robust load hoist drums with Lebus grooves, and torsion-free upper frame construction. Its swing system offers 360-degree rotation at 2.0 rpm via twin planetary reducers and hydraulic motors. The undercarriage features wide 1,220 mm track shoes (optionally 1,330 mm), providing excellent ground contact and stability with an average ground pressure of approximately 109 kPa.

Safety is integral to the CKL2600 design, with built-in overload prevention, boom backstops, swing and travel alarms, load moment indicators, counterweight self-removal device, and optional free-fall function. The crane’s cab is fitted with ergonomic controls, air conditioning, sun visor, tinted glass, reclining high-backed seat, and operator-focused instrumentation for long-term comfort and reduced fatigue.

The CKL2600 also offers flexible transport and assembly with a self-removal counterweight system and quick-disconnect crawler assemblies.
