Schweri ordered its AC 5.220-1 with the full counterweight of 71 tonnes and already has its first assignment waiting for it: Together with the company’s Tadano ATF 130G-5, it will be used to set up a filter system for a new industrial plant being built.

“The Tadano AC 5.220-1 is not only one of the most powerful five-axle cranes on the market but also the most cost-effective five-axle unit out there,” Managing Director Leonhard Zerni mentions when asked what the most important advantages behind the crane are at the corresponding handover in Lauf.

Moreover, he is also quick to point out that there are many more plus factors offered by AC 5.220-1. In fact, outstanding lifting capacities, outrigger extension detection for the five selectable outrigger spreads, and fast setup times all contributed to making his purchase decision extremely easy.

In addition, he adds the ability of the AC 5.220-1 to telescope under load with up to 39.7 tonnes on its hook.

This press release was sent by Tadano on 17 Jan 2023.
