Liebherr LTM1400-7.1
The seven-axle LTM 1400-7.1 mobile crane is one of the most compact representatives of its class and extraordinarily manoeuvrable thanks to its active rear-axle steering. The ballast radius can be significantly reduced for use n constricted areas by moving the counterweight. The LTM1400-7.1 features a 5-section, 60 metres long telescopic boom together with a Y-guying system to significantly increase its load capacity. It has a maximum load capacity of 400 tonnes, a maximum under hook height of 130 metres and a maximum radius of 100 metres.

Hong Kong base rental company, Set Win Heavy Lift Ltd, has taken delivery of the LTM1400-7.1 mobile crane in 2014, along with two other Liebherr mobile cranes. They became the first company in Hong Kong to owned an LTM1400-7.1. The 400-ton mobile crane was involved in a tandem lift to get Hong Kong’s Observation Wheel “off the ground”.
