Fuwa FWX85

The Fuwa FWX85 crawler crane is a medium-capacity machine capable of lifting up to 85 tonnes at a 4-meter radius. Engineered for flexibility and efficiency, the FWX85 is available in two configurations: the standard (S-type) and the heavy-duty (MS-type). Both configurations provide adaptable solutions for various lifting tasks in construction, infrastructure, and industrial applications. The crane’s maximum main boom length is 58 meters, and it can be extended with a fly jib to reach a total combination length of 76 meters, with a fly jib of up to 18 meters.

The FWX85 is powered by a robust engine with a rated output of either 194 kW (domestic) or 209 kW (export) at 2000 rpm, enabling strong hydraulic performance. This crane features a high-grade hydraulic system that supports quick lifting speeds, with both the main and auxiliary winches reaching up to 105 m/min with 22 mm and 26 mm wire ropes. The boom hoist operates at 60 m/min with an 18 mm rope, allowing for efficient operation and swift adjustments. The crane can rotate at speeds up to 2.5 rpm and travel at speeds up to 1.5 km/h, providing maneuverability across job sites.

The FWX85 is equipped with a counterweight totaling 27.5 tonnes, ensuring stability during lifting operations. The machine’s single-line pull capacity is 8 tonnes (S-type) and 20 tonnes (MS-type), and it features a gradeability of 30%, allowing it to handle slopes and uneven terrain effectively. The crane’s ground bearing pressure is 0.073 MPa, which distributes weight effectively to minimize impact on soft ground.

The FWX85’s cabin is ergonomically designed, offering enhanced visibility and comfort. It includes an electronic monitoring system with a display for diagnostics and operational feedback, ensuring safety and efficiency. The crane’s modular structure allows for easy assembly and disassembly, with transport dimensions of 11,717 mm (L) x 3,500 mm (W) x 3,560 mm (H) and a total crane mass of 77.8 tonnes, making it straightforward to transport between sites.
