Product Description
The IHI CCH2000-5 is a robust 200-ton class crawler crane designed for large-scale lifting operations, including civil engineering, plant construction, and infrastructure projects. This fully hydraulic crawler crane offers a standard boom length from 18 to 90 meters, with optional jibs that extend its maximum reach to 103 meters (72 m boom + 31 m jib). The crane supports multiple hoisting configurations such as post, luffing jib, and auxiliary jib setups—offering 50-ton, 25-ton, and 13.5-ton capacities respectively. However, simultaneous lifting with post and auxiliary jib is not permitted.
The lifting system is driven by a powerful Hino K13C-UV diesel engine delivering 275 kW (374 PS) at 2000 rpm. This six-cylinder, water-cooled, turbocharged engine has a 12.882-liter displacement and supports a 450-liter fuel tank. The travel system operates at speeds of 0.6 to 0.9 km/h with gradeability of 30% (16.7°), while the slewing system rotates at 1.7 rpm (with optional constant swing at 0.6 rpm).
Hoisting is managed by independent variable-displacement axial piston motors and planetary gear reducers driving lebus-grooved drums. Both main and auxiliary hoist systems offer automatic hydraulic assist brakes, multiple-speed control, and ratchet locks. The boom hoist system also utilizes dual hydraulic motors and planetary gears with multi-disc wet brakes for safe and smooth operation.
The crane is outfitted with wire ropes tailored for various components:
- Main hoist: 28 mm diameter, 70.2-ton breaking strength
- Boom hoist: 22 mm, 36.3-ton
- Boom suspension: 34 mm, 104-ton
- Auxiliary hoist and jib suspension: 28 mm, 70.2-ton
- Jib strut suspension: 31.5 mm, 74.9-ton
It includes a 78-ton counterweight with an additional 16-ton carbody weight, bringing the operating weight (with 18 m boom) to around 193 tons. Ground pressure is kept at 103 kPa (1.05 kgf/cm²), offering stability on varied terrain.
The crane also comes standard with a full operator’s cabin equipped with modern comforts such as a reclining seat, heater, radio, lighting, rear-view mirrors, and safety alarms. The onboard moment limiter ensures load safety, while optional equipment includes monitoring systems, catwalks, lighting enhancements, and additional guards.
With boom configurations extending to 90 meters and high-capacity hook blocks supporting up to 200 tons (16-part reeving), the IHI CCH2000-5 is tailored for efficient, safe, and high-performance lifting in the most demanding site conditions.
