Kobelco CKL1800

The Kobelco CKL1800 crawler crane is engineered to handle heavy lifting applications across a range of industries including infrastructure, industrial plants, and large-scale construction. With a maximum lifting capacity of 180 tons at a 4.4-meter radius, this crane combines powerful performance with flexible boom and jib configurations to adapt to diverse site requirements.

Its standard crane boom can be configured from 15.2 meters to 85.3 meters in length, providing excellent lifting reach and working radii. The CKL1800 also supports fixed jib configurations with boom + jib combinations up to 73.2 meters + 30.5 meters, and luffing jib combinations up to 54.9 meters + 51.8 meters, enabling precise, high-reach lifting tasks.

The crane is powered by a Hino P11C-UN turbocharged diesel engine producing 247 kW (ISO) at 2,000 rpm, delivering 1,300 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm. The hydraulic system utilizes multiple variable displacement pumps producing a maximum pressure of 31.9 MPa (325 kgf/cm²) to ensure smooth, simultaneous multi-function control across hoisting, boom, swing, and travel functions. The main and auxiliary winches provide rated line pulls of 132 kN (13.5 tf) with line speeds up to 100 m/min (first layer), supporting efficient, stable hoisting cycles.

For stable ground contact and improved safety, the CKL1800 is equipped with wide track shoes measuring 1,070 mm, delivering low ground bearing pressure (~1.1/0.7 kg/cm²). Its swing system operates at 2 rpm with 360-degree continuous rotation, while the undercarriage offers maximum travel speeds of 1.1 km/h and gradeability up to 30%.

Safety features include an integrated load moment limiter compliant with EN13000 standards, overload prevention systems, boom backstops, anti-two block devices, swing and travel alarms, and hydraulic safety valves. The operator cab features ergonomic seating, air conditioning, sun visor, clear instrumentation, and advanced control systems, providing comfort and control during extended work shifts.
