Key Features & Benefits
The Sany SCC1800 is a high-capacity 180-ton crawler crane designed to meet the demands of heavy construction, infrastructure development, and industrial lifting operations. Engineered for both power and precision, the SCC1800 boasts a maximum lifting capacity of 180 metric tons at a 4.6-meter radius.
The crane is equipped with a main boom system that ranges from 18 meters to 84 meters, comprised of robust, high-strength steel boom sections. For enhanced reach and versatility, it includes a fixed jib that spans 12 to 31 meters, and a maximum boom + jib configuration of 75 + 31 meters, making it suitable for complex, high-reach lifts and offset operations.
Powering the crane is a Cummins QSM11 Tier III diesel engine, capable of delivering 242 kW (324 hp) at 1,800 rpm. This engine ensures reliable performance under heavy loads and in various site conditions, with optimized fuel consumption. All major crane movements—hoisting, slewing, luffing, and travel—are operated through advanced hydraulic systems.
Key performance specifications include:
- Main/auxiliary hoist speed: up to 120 m/min
- Boom hoist speed: 70 m/min
- Slewing speed: 0 to 2.0 rpm
- Travel speed: up to 1.3 km/h
- Gradeability: 30%
The crane is fitted with an intelligent load moment limiter system, which continuously monitors load conditions and provides warnings or interlocks under unsafe configurations. The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed with air conditioning, adjustable seats, large-view windows, and a touchscreen LCD display for crane control, monitoring, and diagnostics.
The SCC1800 features a modular counterweight system and is built for efficient assembly/disassembly to facilitate ease of transport. Its operating weight, including base machine and counterweights, reaches approximately 179 tons.
In summary, the Sany SCC1800 is a powerful, flexible crawler crane engineered for the heavy-lift segment, offering a combination of lifting reach, operational safety, and efficiency. It’s well-suited for wind turbine erection, bridge construction, heavy industrial installations, and other demanding lift scenarios.
