Komatsu LC755

Designed for operations in confined and urban construction sites, the Komatsu LC755 is a 4.9-ton capacity mini crawler crane that offers outstanding mobility and versatility. The crane features a fully hydraulic 5-section telescopic boom that extends from 4.56 meters to 15.56 meters, providing a maximum lifting height of 16.35 meters and a working radius reaching up to 14.45 meters. This range makes it suitable for a wide array of precision lifting applications, including installations in industrial plants and building interiors.

At the core of the LC755’s performance is its Komatsu 4D102E engine, rated at 40.5 kW (55 PS) at 1,750 rpm. This 4-cylinder diesel engine provides ample power for efficient hydraulic operation. The unit incorporates a 140-liter fuel tank, allowing for prolonged operation without refueling interruptions. The hoisting mechanism employs a 6xFi (29) IWRC wire rope, 10 mm in diameter and 115 meters in length, offering robust durability and lifting reliability.

Lifting is supported by four-part reeving, with the drum capable of two hoisting speeds: 21.5 m/min and 32.5 m/min (on the fourth drum layer). The boom elevation angle ranges from -2° to 80°, adjusted in just 14 seconds, while the swing angle is a full 360° continuous rotation at a speed of 2.0 rpm.

Mounted on a crawler base with 450 mm-wide tracks and a total ground contact length of 2,235 mm, the LC755 achieves excellent stability. It exerts a low ground pressure of 0.32 kgf/cm², which is essential for work on soft or finished surfaces. The maximum traction speed is 2.2 km/h. The undercarriage includes independent hydraulic drive motors and sprocket/crawler drive with built-in braking for secure and responsive travel.

Operational safety and ease of use are emphasized through an integrated load moment limiter (LMI), anti-two block system, and safety interlocks. These features help prevent overload conditions and enhance operational reliability. The crane is also equipped with electronic monitoring systems for hoist drum rotation and other key operations.

Dimensionally, the LC755 measures 4,490 mm in length, 2,230 mm in width, and 2,545 mm in height. With a transportable weight of approximately 9,600 kg, it can be easily relocated between jobsites with appropriate logistics.
