Grove RT550E
Grove has launched the new 45 tonnes rough terrain, RT550E in 2013 Bauma show in Munich. The crane was being shown to customers from France and Italy at Manitowoc group’s Niella Tanaro facility in Italy, alongside with the first 400 ton GMK6400 all-terrain crane in Italy.

Product Description
The RT550E has a five-section, 39 metres main boom and features the Twin-Lock pinning system. It comes with an optional 8 metres swingaway jib extension that can be fitted with offsets from 0, 20 or 40 degrees. Despite the lifting capacity, the crane weighs just under 29 tonnes.
Measuring only 12 meters long and 2.55 meters wide, the compact size of Grove RT550E is ideal for jobs that require a small footprint, but a good lifting capacity.
