The first new 70 tonne Tadano GR-700EX-4 Rough Terrain crane has arrived in Europe from Japan!

Launched in April by Tadano, the new crane was delivered to Tadano Nederland in Purmerend, North of Amsterdam.

The GR-700EX-4 is rated at three metres and features a five section 47 metre rounded profile main boom which utilises two telescope cylinders, one which extends section two – the first telescopic section – while the other three sections are fully synchronised with ropes and sheaves. The boom is topped by a 10.1 to 17.7 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which offsets by up to 45 degrees and offers a maximum tip height of just under 68 metres. The crane has 4.35 tonne integrated counterweight.

Sales manager Stephan Goluch said: “Our sales team thinks it’s absolutely great that we get to offer these extraordinary cranes to our European customers effective immediately.”

General manager of international sales, Futoshi Kimura, added: “Now our European customers can also benefit from the advantages offered by the latest generation of these cranes. To put it simply, our Rough Terrain cranes are among the best that the market has to offer for jobs on difficult terrain.”
