Key Features & Benefits

The SAC1300T2 was introduced as part of SANY’s T-Series all-terrain crane lineup, aimed at enhancing lifting capacity, structural optimization, and operating efficiency in the 130-ton segment. According to the manufacturer’s specification brochure (June 2020 edition) , the crane offers a maximum rated lifting capacity of 130 tonnes with a maximum lifting moment of 560 t·m on the main boom.

The crane is equipped with a seven-section oval-shaped main boom fabricated from fine-grain high-strength steel. The basic boom length is 14 m, extending hydraulically to a full length of 75 m. Full telescoping or retraction is completed in approximately 660 seconds. The standard lattice jib measures 18 m, with optional additional inserts allowing configurations that extend the maximum boom and jib combination to approximately 104 m. Jib offset angles are mechanically adjustable at 0°, 15°, and 30°, enabling flexibility for high-reach and offset lifting operations.

In terms of working speed performance, the main and auxiliary winches both provide a maximum single-line lifting speed of 130 m/min (no load). The boom luffing time is approximately 55 seconds for raising and 115 seconds for lowering. Slewing is 360° continuous with a maximum slewing speed of 1.5 r/min, supported by a closed-loop electro-proportional hydraulic system for smooth and precise rotation control.

The SAC1300T2 is mounted on a 5-axle all-terrain carrier with a 10×6×10 wheel formula. Three axles are driven, and all axles are steerable. The steering system provides multiple steering modes including highway mode, all-wheel steering, crab steering, independent rear steering, and rear axle lock mode, enhancing maneuverability in confined job sites. The minimum turning radius is approximately 8.5 m. The H-type outriggers provide a longitudinal span of 8.4 m and transverse span of 7.9 m, with full hydraulic extension and automatic leveling to ensure stability during lifting operations.

The chassis is powered by a Weichai WP10.460 diesel engine delivering approximately 338 kW at 1,900 rpm and a peak torque of 2,150 N·m between 1,000–1,400 rpm. The drivetrain is paired with a FAST 12-speed automated transmission. The maximum travel speed reaches 80 km/h, with a maximum gradeability of 46%. Fuel consumption is rated at approximately ≤70 L per 100 km under standard conditions. Overall vehicle dimensions are approximately 15,900 mm in length, 2,800 mm in width, and 4,000 mm in height, with a gross vehicle mass around 54,990 kg (without jib, hook blocks, counterweight, and certain removable components).

The upper structure features a hydraulic system utilizing variable displacement piston pumps and electro-proportional control technology to ensure stable micro-movement and energy-efficient operation. The load moment limiter system is based on an analytical lifting mechanics model with ±5% rated load accuracy through calibration, providing full operational safety monitoring. Additional safety equipment includes hydraulic balance valves, relief valves, dual-direction hydraulic locks, three-wrap protection for winches, boom head height limiters, and a wind speed indicator mounted at the boom tip.

The operator’s cab is ergonomically designed with adjustable seating, integrated display systems, and a clear load monitoring interface. The design emphasizes visibility, comfort, and operational precision for extended working cycles.

Performance charts in the brochure show the crane achieving 130 tonnes at a 3 m working radius on the 14 m boom configuration, with capacities progressively reducing as boom length and working radius increase. With the jib installed (up to 70 m + 34 m configuration), auxiliary lifting capacities range from approximately 3 tonnes at shorter radii to around 1 tonne at extended radii, depending on boom length and jib angle.

Overall, the SANY SAC1300T2 represents a balanced 130-ton all-terrain crane with extended 75 m main boom reach, up to 104 m maximum tip height, efficient 5-axle mobility, and optimized hydraulic control. It is suitable for infrastructure development, industrial plant erection, bridge construction, and general heavy lifting applications requiring both reach and mobility.
