Product Description

The Demag CC 1800-1 is a robust and versatile crawler crane designed for heavy-duty lifting operations with a maximum capacity of 300 tons. Its crawler carrier consists of a 3-section structure comprising a carbody and two crawler side frames. These frames, built from high-strength fine-grain steel, ensure durability and excellent stability on challenging terrains. The crawlers are independently powered by hydraulic motors, providing infinite variable control and counter-rotation capability for enhanced maneuverability on-site.

Powered by a DaimlerChrysler OM 501 LA engine producing 260 kW (353 hp), the CC 1800-1 delivers reliable performance for lifting operations, complying with EURO II emission standards. The crane’s advanced hydraulic system, equipped with variable displacement axial piston pumps, enables smooth and precise movements of the boom and hoisting systems.

The crane features several boom combinations, offering flexibility for different lifting applications. The main boom can be configured in lengths ranging from 18 to 114 meters, depending on the specific boom type and configuration. The SH/LH combination can extend up to 96 meters, while the SSL/LSL configuration reaches up to 114 meters, providing extensive reach and lifting height for various projects. The lattice-type tubular boom structure ensures strength and stability during heavy lifts.

The crane is equipped with two standard rope drums for hoist and boom lift operations, driven by hydraulic motors through planetary gear units. These drums are equipped with spring-applied hydraulic brakes for secure load handling and precise load lowering. Additionally, the crane includes advanced safety devices such as electronic load indicators, limit switches for hoisting and boom movements, and wind speed monitoring via an anemometer.

The cab of the CC 1800-1 is ergonomically designed, offering the operator a comfortable and safe working environment. It features large safety-glazed windows, complete instrumentation, air conditioning, and a heater. The cab can be tilted for improved visibility during lifting operations and can be swung in front of the superstructure for transportation.

Optional equipment for the CC 1800-1 includes additional counterweights of up to 180 tons, auxiliary reeving winches, and a second hoist, enhancing its flexibility for larger and more demanding projects. The Superlift counterweight system can be configured with up to 180 tons, allowing for maximum stability during heavy lifts.

Overall, the Demag CC 1800-1 is a powerful, adaptable crawler crane ideal for large-scale construction projects, industrial applications, and infrastructure development. Its combination of advanced hydraulic technology, versatile boom configurations, and strong lifting capacity makes it a reliable choice for complex lifting tasks.
