Fuwa FWX55

The Fuwa FWX55 crawler crane is engineered for efficient lifting operations in mid-sized construction and industrial projects. With a maximum lifting capacity of 55 tonnes at a 3.6-meter radius, the FWX55 is versatile and adaptable, offering a main boom length ranging from 13 to 52 meters. When configured with a fly jib, it can achieve a total boom and jib combination of up to 67 meters (52 meters of main boom plus a 15-meter fly jib). The crane is powered by an engine with an output of either 142 kW (export version) or 132 kW (domestic version), running at 2000 rpm. This engine drives a high-efficiency hydraulic system that powers its main and auxiliary winches, which both operate at speeds of up to 110 m/min with a 22 mm wire rope. Additionally, the boom hoist can achieve a lifting speed of 60 m/min using an 18 mm wire rope, enabling quick and precise adjustments during lifts.

For stability and safety, the FWX55 is equipped with a counterweight totaling 18.5 tonnes and maintains a ground bearing pressure of 0.062 MPa. This crane features a gradeability of 30%, which allows it to traverse uneven terrain with ease, and it offers a travel speed of 1.33 km/h for efficient movement around job sites. Its compact transport dimensions of 12,290 mm (L) x 3,260 mm (W) x 3,190 mm (H) make it easy to transport and deploy, while the crane mass, including the basic boom and a 55t hook, is 52.8 tonnes.
