Product Description
The Hitachi KH700-2 is a robust crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 150 tons at a working radius of 5 meters. Its versatile boom system starts with a basic boom length of 18 meters, and can be extended up to an impressive 81 meters, depending on the configuration required. For additional reach, the crane includes a jib option, with lengths varying from 13 to 31 meters. When combined, the boom and jib length can extend up to 100 meters, providing substantial flexibility for various lifting operations.
This crane is equipped with high-performance winches that offer different speed modes for precise control. The main winch operates at a speed of 60 m/min in high mode and 30 m/min in low mode, with a rope diameter of 26 mm. The boom winch speed is 22 m/min using a 20 mm rope. Slewing speed is adjustable, ranging from 1.9 rpm in high mode to 1.3 rpm in low mode, allowing for smooth and accurate positioning of loads.
In terms of mobility, the KH700-2 offers travel speeds of 1.0 km/h in high gear and 0.5 km/h in low gear, suitable for maneuvering on job sites. The crane has a maximum gradeability of 30% (18°), allowing it to operate effectively on inclined terrains. Its ground pressure is approximately 0.89 kgf/cm² (or 89 kPa), which ensures stability during heavy lifting operations.
The crane is powered by an Isuzu 12PB1 diesel engine, delivering 250 PS at 2,000 rpm, providing reliable power for lifting and traveling operations. The crane’s total operating weight is around 145 tons when equipped with an 18-meter boom and a 150-ton hook, making it suitable for heavy-duty tasks across construction and industrial projects.
Additionally, the KH700-2 offers a specialized clamshell bucket configuration, capable of handling loads with bucket capacities ranging from 2.5 m³ (standard winch) to 3.0 m³ (optional powerful winch).
