Sany’s achievement in launching the SCC1000 not only marked a milestone in its corporate history but also established it as a leader in heavy lifting technology in Asia. The first unit, exemplifying robust engineering and innovation, came off the production line in 2008 and has since been a testament to Sany’s commitment to excellence in the crane industry.

Performance at Fuqing Nuclear Power Station

The photograph captured at the Fuqing nuclear power station illustrates the SCC1000 in action, utilizing its LJDB configuration—consisting of a 60m main boom, 54m luffing jib, superlift mast, and superlift counterweight. This setup was adeptly employed to hoist the nuclear station’s dome, which measures 11m in height and 37m in diameter, weighing 170 tons, at a working radius of 24m and a height of 60m.

Continuous Operation and Versatility

Since its launch on June 18, 2010, the SCC1000 has been operational continuously for nearly 60 days, tackling various complex hoisting tasks. Its versatility has been showcased in numerous critical lifting operations involving suspension girders and steel structures, as reported by the Zhongyuan Engineering Corp, a subsidiary of the China National Nuclear Corporation.
