XCMG QUY450
The XCMG QUY450 is a 450-ton capacity crawler crane developed for heavy lifting in high-demand industrial sectors. With boom configurations extending up to 126 meters and a robust lattice boom structure, it provides reliable performance under both standard and SL (superlift) modes.

Product Description
The XCMG QUY450 crawler crane is designed for high-capacity lifting tasks, boasting a maximum lifting capacity of 450 metric tonnes. It features a modular lattice boom system composed of high-quality tubular chords and web sections. In standard lifting mode, the heavy boom configuration ranges from 24 to 84 meters, while the light boom setup can be extended from 48 to 102 meters. For more demanding SL mode operations, the heavy boom can still reach up to 84 meters, whereas the light boom can be extended to a massive 126 meters. Fixed jibs offer 12 to 36 meters in reach, and tower jibs can span 24 to 84 meters depending on the mode. An additional 12-meter jib is available for specialized lifting conditions.
The crane operates at a single line winch speed of 130 meters per minute and offers various luffing winch speeds for different jib types, with speeds reaching up to 112 m/min. Slewing is performed at 1.0 rpm, while the travel speed tops at 0.95 km/h. With a mean ground pressure of 0.132 MPa, it maintains stability across uneven terrain. The crane is powered by a 383 kW engine, ensuring robust torque for heavy lifting.
The overall weight of the crane in working condition with a 24-meter boom and 450-ton hook block is approximately 415 tonnes. For transport, the base machine weighs 60 tonnes with dimensions of 11.6 × 3.39 × 3.4 meters.
The counterweight system includes turntable counterweights totaling 160 tonnes, SL counterweights up to 250 tonnes, and a 42.6-ton car-body counterweight. The operator’s cabin is designed for comfort and safety, with panoramic visibility, adjustable seats, integrated air-conditioning, and safety glass. Additional design highlights include a triple-roller slewing bearing, a high-strength car-body frame, and crawler tracks with a width of 1.5 meters for enhanced traction and mobility.
Whether in energy infrastructure, heavy industrial construction, or major lifting projects, the XCMG QUY450 delivers strong performance and reliability through a blend of high lifting capability, advanced control systems, and rugged construction.
