Product Description

The Potain MC 120B is a hammerhead tower crane that embodies the evolution of the earlier MC 110B, providing enhanced performance and operational flexibility for both urban and industrial applications. With a maximum jib length extended to 60 meters, this model offers a lifting capacity of up to 6 tonnes, handling 1.15 tonnes at its maximum radius. The MC 120B is equipped with a 1.6 m x 1.6 m tower system and can reach a free-standing height of up to 41.9 meters, configurable through various mast and anchorage options.

This model excels in tight urban environments due to its agile geometry and reduced footprint, while maintaining high load charts across various working radii. The hoisting system includes the option of either the 33 PC 15 or 40 LVF 15 winch, delivering hoisting speeds up to 85 m/min with a maximum rope capacity of 400 meters. These features ensure fast, efficient material handling on site. Additionally, the crane includes a modern operator cab (RCV 145) with improved ergonomics and visibility, enhancing operator comfort and site safety.

Maintenance requirements are kept minimal through robust design and efficient electrical and mechanical systems. This includes Potain’s Smartview cab, energy-efficient winches, and streamlined counterweight systems. As a product of Manitowoc’s continuous innovation, the MC 120B is a versatile solution built to handle the evolving demands of modern construction.
