Hitachi-Sumitomo SCX300

The Hitachi-Sumitomo SCX300 is a compact crawler crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 30 tons at a 3-meter load radius, making it ideal for lighter lifting tasks in construction and industrial applications. The crane features a basic boom length of 10 meters, extendable up to 34 meters, providing flexibility for a range of lifting heights and operational requirements.

The crane is equipped with a Hino H06C-T engine, a reliable and fuel-efficient power source that delivers 110 kW (150 PS) at 2,000 rpm. This ensures adequate power for lifting operations while maintaining fuel efficiency and meeting emission standards. The SCX300’s hydraulic system facilitates smooth lifting, hoisting, and traveling operations.

For efficient load handling, the crane’s wire rope speed for both main and auxiliary hoisting is rated at 70 meters per minute for lifting and 35 meters per minute for lowering, using a 22 mm diameter wire rope. The boom hoisting and lowering speed is 60 meters per minute, which provides quick and smooth boom adjustments.

The SCX300 features a swing speed of 4.0 rpm, enabling rapid and precise rotational movements for accurate positioning of loads. The crane’s travel speed is 1.8 km/h, allowing it to navigate job sites efficiently. It has a gradeability of 21.8°, making it suitable for operating on inclined or uneven surfaces.

With a ground pressure of 53.9 kPa when equipped with 760 mm shoes, the SCX300 provides stability and minimizes ground impact, which is particularly beneficial when working on softer soils. The crane’s operating weight is approximately 33.1 tons when configured with a 10-meter boom and 30-ton hook.
