Crawler Crane

Kobelco BM700 is a heavy duty base machine developed for foundation work. It has a maximum lifting capacity of 65-tonne at 4.1 metres radius. The 65-tonne crawler crane can be equipped up to 54.9 metres main boom to lift 1.1 tonnes at 40 metres radius. There is also jib attachment from 6.1 to 18.3 metres which are offset-table at 10 and 30 degrees.

Product Description

The crane is equipped with a 6 cylinder water-cooled Mitsubishi 6D22-T engine rated at 230 PS (170 kW) at 1,800 rpm and has a maximum torque of 102kg-m at 1,200 rpm (JIS D1005). The Engine Speed Sensing (ESS) system makes 100% efficient use of engine power for steady, effortless operation.[irp]

It has a powerful winch first layer a with a maximum line pull of 17 tonnes and wide large diameter drum of dimensions 462mm P.C.D x 522 mm wide drums that is able to store a maximum of 32-metre rope at its first layer. Rope capacity for the front and rear are 175 metres and 278 metres respectively.

The total counterweight is 20.55 tonne, which is divided into two pieces, mounted behind the crane’s compartment. BM700 operating weight is approximately 65 tonnes when equipped with full counterweight, 9.1 metres basic boom and a 65-tonne hook block.

The crane can be used for clamshell and dragline application as well.
