Product Description

The XCMG QUY150 is a high-performance 150-ton crawler crane designed to meet the lifting demands of large infrastructure, energy, and industrial developments. It offers a robust lifting moment of 8,240 kN·m and comes with a main boom that can be configured from 19 to 82 meters. The boom is assembled from modular sections including 9 m base and top sections, and intermediate inserts of 3, 6, 9, and 12 meters. This allows flexible boom length adjustment in 3-meter increments for different job requirements.

Complementing the main boom is a luffing jib system with a length range of 12 to 30 meters, mounted at 10° or 30° angles. This enables the crane to extend its lifting reach and handle complex jobs such as up-and-over lifting in tight areas. The jib is compatible with boom lengths from 46 to 73 meters, providing great versatility.

The crane is powered by either a Cummins M11-C310 engine rated at 231 kW (310 hp) at 2100 rpm or an optional Volvo TAD941VE engine rated at 220 kW (299 hp) at 2000 rpm. Both options deliver strong torque and fuel efficiency. The hydraulic system is based on a dual-variable pump, open-loop design with a maximum system pressure of 31 MPa, ensuring precise, responsive operation across hoisting, luffing, slewing, and traveling functions.

Hoisting is managed by independent main and auxiliary winches with a max line speed of 100 m/min (at fifth layer) and luffing winches with a speed of 30 m/min. The slewing mechanism reaches up to 1.5 rpm and includes planetary gear reducers and wet-type brake systems for secure control. Travel speed tops at 1 km/h with a 30% climbing ability, while the average ground bearing pressure remains low at 0.093 MPa, improving terrain adaptability.

Structurally, the QUY150 features a rigid X-type undercarriage and a robust turntable using box-type and single-web plate configurations to optimize strength and reduce deformation. The machine is equipped with high-quality components from globally renowned brands like Rexroth (hydraulics), O&K (travel reducers), and Pat (load moment indicators), ensuring reliability and ease of maintenance.

In transport mode, the crane breaks down into modules, with the largest single component (the base machine) weighing 46 tons and measuring 11.5 × 3.3 × 3.3 meters. Safety features include a load moment limiter, anti-overturn and over-hoist devices, wind speed sensors, and hydraulic lock valves throughout critical functions.

With its powerful lifting capacity, adaptable boom configurations, and robust hydraulic and structural design, the XCMG QUY150 is a reliable and efficient choice for high-capacity lifting in complex and heavy-duty environments.
