XCMG QY60K

The XCMG QY60K is a 60-ton class full hydraulic truck crane that combines lifting strength with operational efficiency and a user-focused design. With its fully integrated truck chassis and boom system, the crane delivers excellent performance for a range of construction and industrial lifting tasks.

The crane features a 42-meter, five-section telescopic boom, with an optional jib extending the total reach up to 57 to 58 meters. The base boom starts at 11.2 meters. Lifting capacity reaches up to 60 tons, supported by a maximum load moment of 2050 kN·m at the base boom and 824 kN·m when fully extended. The boom is supported by a robust hydraulic system allowing quick and stable elevation and telescoping, with raising time of 60 seconds and extension time of 150 seconds. Maximum slewing speed is 2.0 rpm.

Mounted on a four-axle carrier (6×4 drive), the QY60K is powered by a 266 kW engine with 1250 Nm of torque, operating at 2200 rpm. The drivetrain supports travel speeds up to 75 km/h, a 24-meter turning diameter, and a 40% gradeability. The approach and departure angles of 17.5° and 12° respectively enable it to navigate uneven job site terrain with confidence.

The crane has an overall length of 13,500 mm, a width of 2,800 mm, and a height of 3,510 mm. The dead weight in travel condition is 41,000 kg, distributed over 15,000 kg on the front axle and 26,000 kg on the rear axles. Outriggers span a distance of 5.81 × 6.7 meters, providing a solid working base, with independent telescoping beam and jack deployment taking around 30 to 35 seconds.

The operator’s cab is designed with ergonomics in mind and built to ISO standards. It features a full-width cab on the carrier with adjustable, shock-absorbing seats and air conditioning to reduce fatigue and improve comfort. The crane cab is mounted on the right-hand side, streamlined for visibility and ease of control, and includes an LCD display monitor for real-time operation feedback.

The QY60K boasts high work efficiency, thanks to its dual-variable displacement winch system, capable of slow heavy-duty operation or fast light-load operation. Hoisting speed with full load reaches 75 m/min, and the auxiliary winch can operate up to 108 m/min. The hydraulic system utilizes electro-hydraulic proportional valves and swing buffer valves for stable motion, and electronic control for precise maneuverability.

Safety systems are comprehensive, featuring an automatic load moment limiter, overload and overwind cutout devices, and holding valves on key hydraulic components to ensure safe and reliable operation.
