Product Description

The Tadano TL-150 represents a culmination of engineering refinement and compact performance, tailored for efficient lifting in both confined and urbanized environments. As part of Tadano’s celebrated TL series, this model delivers a rated lifting capacity of 15,000 kg with a 10.0-meter boom using six falls, scaling down to 5,000 kg at 23.5 meters with four falls, and further supporting a 2,000 kg load with a 6-meter jib attachment for long-reach tasks. The maximum hoisting height from the ground reaches 23.0 meters using the main boom, while the jib can elevate this further to a height of 28.5 meters, offering versatility for various lifting scenarios.

The telescopic boom extends from 10.0 to 23.5 meters, and with the jib attached, the total reach extends up to 29.5 meters. The boom extension mechanism is fully hydraulically actuated and designed for smooth operation, allowing 13.5 meters of extension within 76 seconds. Elevating the boom from 0° to 75° takes just 47 seconds, enhancing on-site efficiency. The winch system, powered hydraulically, operates at a rope speed of 82 meters per minute for the main winch and 62 meters per minute for the auxiliary, ensuring quick and precise lifting cycles.

Slewing capability is provided with full 360-degree continuous rotation at a rate of 2.5 revolutions per minute. Stability is supported by hydraulic outrigger deployment with a 4.4-meter stance, providing a robust foundation during operation.

The TL-150 is powered by the DH100 engine producing 195 PS at 2300 rpm, delivering sufficient torque and operational fluidity for travel and lifting. With a top travel speed of 65 km/h and a gross vehicle weight ratio (GVWR) of 0.293 tons per kilowatt, this crane is road-legal and maneuverable under its own power.

From an operator standpoint, the TL-150 is engineered with comfort and efficiency in mind. It features a reclinable seat with headrest, optimized control placement for fatigue-free operation, and a high-visibility cab design. The AML (Automatic Moment Limiter) system enhances safety by monitoring lifting parameters and ensuring stability under varying load conditions. The cab’s wide glass surface provides optimal visibility and is optionally equipped with a heater for extended comfort in colder climates.

The crane’s independent hydraulic system supports simultaneous actions such as slewing, hoisting, boom elevation, and extension/retraction, streamlining complex tasks into smooth, single-operator workflows. This feature is particularly effective in constrained environments or during tandem lifts.

In conclusion, the Tadano TL-150 is a compact yet highly capable hydraulic truck crane that blends mobility, power, and user-centric control systems. It remains a popular choice for municipal work, utility installation, plant maintenance, and general construction thanks to its durability, operational flexibility, and class-leading reliability.
