Product Description
The Link-Belt HTC-3140 is a high-performance 140-ton truck crane, engineered to provide strong lifting capabilities, excellent transportability, and operational efficiency for mid-to-large-scale lifting applications. Built on a heavy-duty truck chassis, it features all-wheel steering, making it easy to maneuver in urban construction sites and rough terrains.
The crane is equipped with a 43.3-meter (142-foot) six-section telescopic boom, providing significant reach for lifting operations. With additional jib attachments, the maximum system length can be extended further, allowing the HTC-3140 to handle high-reach and complex lifting projects.
In 2016, the HTC-3140 underwent major upgrades, improving both engine efficiency and environmental compliance. The carrier engine was upgraded to 581 hp (434 kW) to meet EPA 2013 on-highway emissions standards, enhancing fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. The upper structure engine, delivering 250 hp (186 kW), was upgraded to Tier 4 Final/Stage IV standards, ensuring cleaner operation with lower environmental impact. Maintaining its twin-engine platform, the crane allows for independent power operation of the carrier and crane functions, optimizing energy use and lifting efficiency.
The HTC-3140’s hydraulic system is designed for precision and smooth operation, ensuring seamless boom extension, controlled load handling, and efficient winching. The crane also incorporates advanced load monitoring and safety systems, helping operators maintain stability and precision in lifting operations.
Inside the operator’s cab, the HTC-3140 features ergonomic controls, joystick-based operation, a digital load monitoring display, and a climate-controlled environment, ensuring operator comfort and efficiency during extended work periods.
With its strong lifting power, upgraded emission-compliant engines, and advanced hydraulic and control systems, the Link-Belt HTC-3140 remains a top-performing truck crane in the 140-ton category, providing mobility, reliability, and efficiency for a wide range of lifting applications.
